About BEVAS

The International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting excellence in the practice of veterinary acupuncture as an integrative part of veterinary medicine. IVAS is an incorporated educational and membership based organization. BEVAS (Belgian Veterinary Acupuncture Society) is the Belgian affiliate of IVAS

The MISSION of IVAS and BEVAS is to provide, promote and support veterinary acupuncture and related treatment modalities through quality basic, advanced and continuing education; internationally recognized certification for veterinarians; and support responsible research. As a particular extra, we in BEVAS commit ourselves to teach with PASSION and to offer a high quality veterinarian acupuncture training, which expands the basic IVAS formation.

IVAS has been setting the global standard in veterinary acupuncture since 1990. BEVAS was the first affiliate in Europe and nowadays IVAS has affiliates in many countries.

The VISION of the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (and it’s affiliates) is professional leadership as the proactive worldwide advocate for veterinary acupuncture and related treatment modalities.
